WBPSC IDO Exam Details

WBPSC IDO 2025 Eligibility:

·        Educational Qualification:

o   Candidates must have a Graduation degree or Engineering Degree from any recognized University.

o   Candidates who has diploma degree in Technical Background are also eligible for this exam.

·        Age Limit:

o   Upper Age limit for this exam is 39 years where as the Lower as limit is 21 years.

o   The Upper age limit is relax-able category wise as per government rules like

§  For OBC : 3 years relaxed

§  For SC/ST : 5 Years Relaxed

·        Candidates must be able to read & write Bengali.

WBPSC IDO 2025 Selection process:

·        There will be two steps in the recruitment process of WBPSC IDO i.e. Industrial Development Officer.

·        1^st step will be OMR based MCQ type Exam. Qualified candidates will appear for the 2^nd stage i.e. Interview.

WBPSC IDO 2025 Exam Pattern:

·        The written examination consist of 100 objective type Questions MCQ Type.

·        Each questions has 1 mark for correct answer.

·        There will be no negative marking.

·        Out of 100 there will be 75 questions from general Studies & 25 questions will be from Mental Abilities/Reasoning & Arithmetic.

·        Total Time for the exam will be 90 minutes.

WBPSC IDO 2025 Syllabus:

·        General Studies will be consist of Science, Industrial Scene, Humanities, and Industrial Potential in West Bengal & India etc.

·        Arithmetic will Madhyamik & 12^th Standard..
