· What is CMS Exam?
CMS stands for Combined Medical Services.
UPSC organized this exam once in every year to recruit Medical Graduates into a
variety of Central Government Organizations and services.
By CMSE you can join as:
1. Assistant
Divisional Medical Officer in Railways
2. Assistant
Divisional Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services
3. Junior Scale
Post in Central Health Service
4. General Duty
Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council
5. General Duty
Medical Gr. –II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, north Delhi Municipal
Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

· CMSE Eligibility:

Nationality
Ø Must Be a
Citizen of India or a Subject of Nepal or Subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan
refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the
intention of permanently settling in India.

CMSE Educational Qualifications:
· Candidate should
have cleared the written and practical part of Final MBBS Exam.
· Candidates
who has appeared or yet to appear at the Final MBBS Exam also can apply
Ø Candidates
who have yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship are educationally
eligible to appear in examination but on selection, they must complete the
compulsory rotating internship.
· CMSE Age Limit:
Ø Upper Age Limit is 32 years
Ø The Upper Age Limit is Relaxable
