Every year, on 12th January, we celebrate National Youth Day. Actually it is Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. National Youth Day is also known as Rashtriya Yuva Diwas.

Day?
Ans. We celebrate
National Youth Day every year on Swami Vivekananda’s Birth anniversary to honor
his contributions to this country. The main objective is to spread rational
thinking among the youth who are believed to be the future of our country.
Q. When was the National Youth Day
first celebrated?
Ans. To honor the
contribution of Great Monk Swami Vivekananda, the Government of India declared
his Birth Anniversary as National Youth Day in 1984 and from then we celebrated
it every Year.
